Wilson & Swift, Sheffield. Double edge Spear point blade 8 5/8" long with an overall length of 14".  Horn scales on grip. Nickle silver guard and pommel, on which is cast an eagle and snake(Mexican War Emblem). Marked "Wilson Swift, Broad St.,Sheffield." Reverse: "D.C.L." Mexican War period.
